On this page you will find a wide selection of quality industrial coffee machines for different types of businesses:
We only sell coffee machines for business, and the prices are therefore exclusive of VAT. Machines from Animo are produced in the Netherlands, in good quality, and compete with Bravilor as the preferred office coffee machine.
Within café machines, we have Denmark's best-selling espresso machine for cafés and coffee shops: the Nuova Simonelli Appia Life with two groups. It is also available with one and three groups, and it has a big brother for very busy places.
Companies can have very different needs for coffee. A small car mechanic may only need black coffee , for which a regular filter coffee machine with a pump thermos is ideal. An office of 30 people typically needs to have the option of cocoa, tea and milky coffees such as cappuccino . This requires a machine that can make espresso. When the person operating the machine is not exactly a barista, it only takes a push of a button, and that is why you choose a coffee machine that can do it all. Models for whole beans that grind themselves are noisier, but also give better coffee.
Espresso machines are generally only for cafes, as they require a high level of knowledge about coffee brewing and, not least, time, as it takes longer to operate and clean it.
Many industrial coffee machines have a fixed water supply, as the volume is so high that you don't have time to fill it with water. This is also the case for many filter coffee machines. This means that you need a plumber to supply water to the machine, but it also means that you should install water treatment - a filter that removes the limescale in the water.
Remember to ask your dealer if you need softening for your coffee machine. In many cases, the parts of the machine that come into contact with water are not covered by the warranty if you have not connected water treatment. You can see how this works in our showroom.
It is not necessary to make a service agreement with us, but we offer it of course, so that you do not have to think about replacing water filters and unforeseen repairs. If you do not have a service agreement, we are happy to send a technician out when you need a repair or a service visit. We provide a 1-year full warranty on all our industrial coffee machines, so within that period you will be covered for both spare parts and technician hours.
Here we help you a little in the process of finding the right industrial coffee machine. There are many options, many suppliers and many brands. Sometimes you need a service/coffee agreement and other times you can buy the machine without any obligations.
The choice of coffee machine depends in particular on:
The classic filter coffee machine you know from home is popular among many, especially in smaller offices, workshops and institutions. This is because anyone can operate the machine, it does not require much maintenance, and it is typically cheaper than other types of industrial coffee machines.
Regular filter coffee machines with glass jugs are usually available for around 1,500-2,500 kroner excluding VAT. Coffee filters and extra jugs are made in standard sizes and can be found in many places in stores and online.
Consider whether it makes sense to buy a filter coffee machine with direct brewing in a thermos, which is practical in meeting rooms.
Large-scale brewing machines, as the name suggests, are designed for businesses with a high volume. For example, in large canteens, in hotel breakfast buffets, in conference centers and at stadiums.
The advantage is that you can brew a large batch of coffee of 5-40 liters, and if you choose a model with two containers, you can ensure that there is always coffee in one container.
We carry the large-scale brewing machine ComBi-Line from Dutch Animo. It is popular throughout Europe because it has been thoroughly tested in even the busiest environments.
Many people choose an automatic coffee machine (coffee machine) because it is not enough to just have black coffee. Many people prefer coffee latte, espresso and cappuccino in Danish offices. Coffee machines are available in many different models and prices ranging from well under 10,000 kroner to well over 100,000 kroner.
The cheapest models are typically used in very small offices of up to 10-15 people and the expensive models are used in large offices, busy cafes, conference centers and gas stations. Expensive machines will also typically have a shorter brewing time, so there is no queue at the machine.
Coffee machines are available in either fresh-brewed or instant versions. Fresh-brewed is clearly preferable because it produces a better cup of coffee. On the other hand, instant machines often provide a shorter brewing time and are less noisy.
Espresso machines are the coffee machine of choice in cafes and restaurants. There are many different models, but by and large there are not many differences in the way they work.
However, you have to choose whether you want a semi-automatic or a fully automatic one. The experienced barista will get more out of a semi-automatic espresso machine, but if you have employees who do not have much experience, you will probably get the best results from a fully automatic espresso machine (see the section on coffee machines).
In terms of price, an espresso machine with 2 groups typically costs between 20,000 and 60,000 kroner. Most are developed and produced in Italy.
The disadvantages of a semi-automatic espresso machine, as opposed to a fully automatic coffee machine, are that it requires more time from the employee/barista, and it takes up a lot more space in the café. You need an external coffee grinder next to the espresso machine.
A percolator is a special type of coffee maker that you don't see in many places, but it is quite popular among clubs, schools, construction sites, and churches.
A percolator is a cylindrical container with a metal tube in the middle and a metal filter at the top, into which you pour the coffee beans. The machine is plugged in and heats the water in the container, drawing it up through the tube and over the coffee beans. The finished coffee then flows back into the container.
The advantage of a percolator is that it can brew larger quantities of coffee (we carry models up to 10 liters), which can be tapped directly from the container. And compared to large-scale brewing machines, which can also hold 10 liters, this solution is much cheaper.
Especially for a good cup of coffee, water quality is a crucial factor, as 98% of coffee consists of water.
You can enhance the taste of your coffee by using a water filter such as Bestmax or Bestmax Bestprotect. This will also reduce the consumption of coffee powder by 20% and also avoid descaling the machine. Limescale primarily settles on the heating elements and is a significant problem.
In some cases, we have to require the customer to use a limescale filter in order to be able to provide full warranty rights.
If you have an espresso machine, you can first remove all taste-disturbing substances with a reverse osmosis system from BWT, and then add magnesium with the Best Premium mineral filter, which enhances the taste and makes the nuances clearer. Such a solution starts from DKK 20,000 excl. VAT.
