A display fridge is an industrial fridge that is typically used to display drinks in shops, restaurants and offices, and therefore by definition they have a glass door. Advantages: 1) Refrigerators are in stock in Denmark. 2) We provide nationwide service with refrigeration technicians. 3) We offer lifting via stairs, extra shelves and branding printing.
Display refrigerators are also called bottle refrigerators or glass refrigerators by many, because they are really just an industrial refrigerator with a glass door and are usually used for storing soft drinks and beer.
Soda and beer in both cans and bottles, energy drinks, juice, sandwiches and other foods (if the fridge has a particularly good cooling capacity).
We do not recommend that you place beer crates and soda crates in a display fridge. The shelves are heavily loaded, and because of the compressor, the box cannot stand at the bottom. The warranty is void if you put beer crates or soft drink crates inside.
Refrigerators with glass doors can be used in all sorts of places. We sell most refrigerators to offices, kiosks, canteens, cafes and restaurants, both in the public and private sector. If you need a display fridge for the office, we always recommend that you choose a low-noise fridge. It may cost a little extra, but you often get a better fridge that lasts longer and uses less power, while also not making noise. On certain models, you can save around DKK 500 per year in electricity compared to less energy-friendly display refrigerators.
Tefcold, Liebherr, Vestfrost, Scandomestic, GRAM.
Yes. We can turn the door on the display fridge for you for an additional price of DKK 498 excl. VAT The glass door is typically hinged on the right side, so if you have to have two standing next to each other, it may make sense to turn one door so that it is hinged on the left.
We always provide a 1-year full warranty on refrigerators with glass doors, so if something breaks within a year, you will be visited by a technician who will repair or replace the refrigerator. At Cosina, you always get sharp advice from an experienced salesperson who has sold industrial refrigerators for many years. We pay environmental taxes, and there will therefore be no addition to the price you find on the website.
Virtually all of our display refrigerators are sent from stock in Denmark with a delivery time of 1-3 days.
Our display fridges can be carried in/up and installed for a fee. We just need information about entrance conditions and possibly a picture of stairs and doors. Call 42613995 and get a price for this.
All shipments of a minimum of 25 kg. costs DKK 398 in shipping and handling. All our refrigerators are delivered either with Danish carriers or with our suppliers' own drivers.
We always provide a minimum 1-year full warranty on all display refrigerators. This covers both spare parts and hours.
A display fridge is an industrial fridge with a glass door, developed for commercial purposes, where the drinks are beautifully displayed in e.g. shop or restaurant. Many also call it a bottle cooler, as it is used for drinks in most cases.
The most important feature is that the fridge displays the drinks nicely and invitingly. There must therefore be good light that reaches all the bottles and cans, regardless of whether they are at the bottom, middle or top.
Choose your refrigerator according to your needs. Below we have described some of the most normal needs of cafes, offices, supermarkets and others that need to cool drinks and food.
If your refrigerator is to fit into an environment, it is important to assess its design and appearance. Currently, black refrigerators with frameless doors are very popular in offices and cafes. For many years, wine refrigerators have been black, but only within the last 5 years have sales of black display refrigerators exploded.
If you buy a display cooler for soft drinks and water in your office, you should look for a quiet fridge with a nice design. Most soda fridges have had the light level tested, so look for the designation dB (decibel) in the product names.
If you want the fridge to be locked, you can choose a model with a lock. A standard lock works for most needs. However, it can be broken if you put a lot of effort into it. If you want to be on the safe side, you should choose a model with
integrated lock.
All our products on this site are made with glass doors for the sale of soft drinks and beer in bottles or cans. Display refrigerators have generally become better at cooling in recent years, and are thus also better suited for food that must be kept at a maximum of 5°C. Before you buy, however, you should check that your chosen refrigerator can go down to 0°C or a maximum of 2°C. Ultimately, however, it is your own responsibility to monitor and ensure that the cabinet maintains the temperature. The food authorities are not always happy that you store food in a refrigerator with a glass door. Alternatively, you can choose an upright storage refrigerator.
Most models on this page have a glass door that can be hung on both sides. Typically, it is right-handed from "birth". On most refrigerators, the door can be reversed. It may be a good idea to reverse the door for reasons of space, or if you have to have two individual cupboards to stand next to each other. You can do it yourself, but it requires two people. That is why many of our customers choose
to let us do it. It costs DKK 595 ex VAT per cabinet.
Here is an example of how to do it on one of our refrigerators:
There is an option for a side-by-side solution if you want a freezer or wine cabinet standing next to it in the same design.
All the display refrigerators are made with a ventilated refrigerator. There is a small fan in the cupboard which distributes the cold. This means that the temperature in the cabinet is higher
uniformly. The fan that distributes the cold emits a hum. So they are arranged differently from the fridge you have at home.
Normally, a display fridge emits between 39 and 48 decibels on the noise scale. They can fluctuate quite a bit and therefore we always recommend that you choose a cabinet at the lower end of the scale. Especially if the fridge is to be in a common room, office and the like. For example, a difference of 3 decibels will be perceived as a noticeable difference. Refrigerators for private use are around 38 to 40 decibels.
If you open and close a refrigerator a lot during one day, it can make a little noise to come down to temperature again, and the same when it raises the temperature during defrosting. It does this as needed. If you fill up a new fridge with goods before it is allowed to cool down, it will also make noise. If it is not leveled by the floor/table being crooked, it can also produce some audible vibrations.
If nothing else is mentioned, the refrigerators have been tested for Danish conditions with an ambient temperature of
25°C and a humidity of 60. If the conditions where the cabinet is to be placed are different, you must
choose a cabinet with climate class 4 (30°C), climate class SN (10-32°C), climate class N (16-32°C) or climate class ST (18-38°C). In that case, you should contact us before
to get the right guidance.
Delivery is made to the curb! You have to carry it in and unpack it yourself.
If you want help carrying it in, the price depends on whether one or two people are needed to carry it in. A double refrigerator requires two men and a single cabinet requires only one man. In both cases, we need to measure the door and see pictures of the door and possibly stairs.
We can offer the driver to call 30 – 60 min. before he arrives with the goods, if you are not always in the business or it is a new opening.
When you first use the cabinet, remember to clean the drain and condenser at the back 1-3 times a quarter and make sure there is some air around
the cupboard so it can get rid of the heat. It is always a good idea to let the cabinet cool down before filling it with contents. If you choose to put whole cases of beer in the fridge, the warranty will disappear, as the shelf berries may have difficulty handling the weight.
If you order collection with us, you have the option (for an additional price of DKK 649 excl. VAT) to have the driver take your used refrigerator back for scrap.

We typically have some individual cabinets on offer at a really good price. And otherwise we usually follow the manufacturers' list prices. If you want more refrigerators, we can make you an offer with a volume discount.
We offer service and repairs on all the brands in our range. You can be sure that the refrigerator fitter who visits you has the most common spare parts in the car, so he only needs to visit you once before your refrigerator is working again.
Tefcold is one of our best-selling brands because the combination of price, design and quality goes together really well. Tefcold has Denmark's largest warehouse of commercial refrigeration furniture in Viborg, and therefore we can deliver next working day, if ordered before 12.
The CEV425 series from Tefcold consists of a black and a white model, each of which is available with and without a light top for branding. These refrigerators are clearly our most popular models because you get a lot of value for money. We have sold them for approx. 10 years, as some of the only ones in Denmark. So we have many happy customers who have such a cabinet standing.
The SCU series , also from Tefcold, is a bit more energy-friendly than the CEV series, and in addition it is available as "frameless", where the glass extends to the edge of the door. There is thus no visible handle, which is popular among the more design-conscious customers.
The Atom Maxi series is a fairly new series that was launched by Tefcold at the end of 2023. It has been developed for you who have a shop, kiosk, supermarket, bakery, campsite or other business where a heavy duty display cooler is needed, which both can cool drinks and food during intensive use. These therefore use slightly more power than ordinary bottle coolers, but are otherwise developed to be very energy efficient in relation to its incredible cooling capabilities. The series consists of models with 1, 2 and 3 doors, and all are available in a version with a freezer, which can be placed next to it with frozen bread, ice cream, pizza or other frozen foods.
Scancool is a brand under Danish Scandomestic, which has a large warehouse just outside Silkeborg. We sell a number of these models, as they are in a price segment where everyone can join. They have also developed several black models, which are in many stores around.
Vestfrost is also a Danish brand, but is in a slightly higher price segment than the above brands. The quality is good and the design is top class - not least on the popular model MFG 185.
GRAM is the highest quality in professional refrigerators. Both when it comes to noise level and energy level, but also the general quality of the components. That is why we also offer a 3-year warranty on the GRAM cabinets in this category.
Vibocold is one of Denmark's leading companies in the sale and repair of commercial refrigerators. They have very good control over the products, and therefore typically send a reasonable quality to the market, within the low and medium price segment.
Regardless of which brand you decide to buy, you are covered by our guarantee of at least 1 year if something should happen to the cabinet. This warranty covers both spare parts and technician hours, so you won't have to pay anything for a factory defect. There are a large number of service vehicles that service the cabinets throughout the country. They have spare parts in the back of the car and ensure that you can get back up and running quickly.
When it defrosts, it raises the temperature briefly and lowers it afterwards. So this is not an error.
Make sure the condenser is cleaned (possibly with a vacuum cleaner head) and that the cabinet can get rid of the heat. Ensures that the room temperature is not higher than the climate class prescribes. It can also make a little extra noise if it is crowded and there are goods in front of the fan.
This can be caused by resonance from the compressor and is quite common. However, it will make the problem worse if the refrigerator is not level.
This occurs when the compressor is working, but worsens if it propagates to the kitchen elements, possibly it could be, for example, a kitchen element or the goods inside the fridge.
The error can also be caused by the capacitor being loose. The condenser is the black ribs on the back of the fridge. Examine any whether the sound changes or disappears if you move the refrigerator or the food inside.
This can happen if a shelf is positioned incorrectly or if the goods touch the back wall. Both parts can lead to the water being directed onto the shelf when it defrosts.
It could also be because you don't use a bottom shelf and put things directly at the bottom of the fridge.
It may also be because the hole in the dry end is blocked. This results in the water not being able to run away and instead running out into the cabinet. Check the hole for dirt, or if new, for packaging.
This may be due to extreme heat from the sun or other hot machines in the room. The heat causes extra frost formation, so the bowl on the compressor fills with water faster than it can evaporate. We always recommend having a drip tray under the fridge to avoid water damage.
This error can be caused by various defects. If you have checked that a fuse has not blown and that the power plug has not been damaged or jumped out of the socket, you should call so that we can send a refrigeration technician out to you.
If the refrigerator cools, but not enough to bring it down to the desired temperature, you should first clean the condenser (the grid at the back of the refrigerator).
If this does not help, check that the refrigerator is not integrated into a wall or kitchen where it cannot get rid of the heat. You can check the minimum requirements for air flow above and below the refrigerator in the manual.
If you still haven't solved the problem, call us so we can send out a refrigeration technician.
This may be because you store unpackaged food in the cupboard. In general, display refrigerators are made for bottles and cans, but can also be used for completely packaged foods. If you want to store food, we recommend a storage refrigerator with a glass door, which is made for this purpose. Call and ask on phone 42613995.
