LS5 is an under-counter dishwasher of the tank dishwasher type and fits a 50x50 cm basket. It is ideal for cafes, as well as smaller restaurants and canteens. As it is not insulated, it should be in a back room so that the noise does not disturb the guests. Otherwise, you must choose e.g. Zanussi LS6 , which is insulated.
The Zanussi LS5 is the budget-friendly dishwasher in good quality, but without many of the functions you find in the LS6. It has standard programs of 120 and 180 seconds.
The difference between Zanussi LS6 and LS5
- The LS5 is not isolated, so it is considerably noisier than its big brother the LS6.
- The LS5 has plastic wash arms - not stainless steel, like the LS6.
- The LS5 uses 3 liters of water per wash, as opposed to 2.5 liters for the LS6.
- The LS5 does not have a flush pump, so it relies on water pressure to move the flush arms. The LS6 has it.
- The LS5 does not have a "guaranteed flushing system", but instead only digital temperature display, which is a legal requirement. LS6 uses "guaranteed rinse system" to indicate that the dish has been rinsed at the correct temperature.
