When choosing a palette knife , go for one of 35 cm. Models of 40 cm are somewhat more difficult to handle. The grease spreader can last for several years if you take good care of it, and the felt pads also last a very long time if, after use, you rinse them under warm water with a little soap in them, wring them out well, and give them a run in the dishwasher.
