On all ONE models, the system is called ROTOR.Klean™, where you choose the washing program you think is best. All PLUS models are equipped with SENSE.Clean, which tells you which cleaning program to use. Another difference is that SENSE.Clean also cleans behind the back panel, where the fan is located.

The washing function is found as an icon on the oven display, where you can choose between different cleaning cycles, depending on your needs. Here is an example from a CHEFTOP PLUS 5-rack combi oven.

The oven can even detect what you have cooked and then recommend an appropriate cycle such as "quick" or "long" wash.

How do you clean the UNOX oven?

Here is a step-by-step guide to using the UNOX oven cleaning function:

Preparation: When the oven indicates that it needs to be cleaned, open the chemical container located under the oven.

Refilling: Use the specially designed UNOX cleaning bottle, which is easy to refill without spillage. The bottle is called Det&Rinse and has a membrane that prevents leakage.

Start the cleaning cycle: Turn the bottle in place so that the cleaning fluid flows into the container. Select the suggested cycle on the display, as shown above, and press "Start."

Automatic Cleaning: The oven does the rest – from cooling down to the cleaning process itself. This means you don’t have to worry about manual cleaning or using protective equipment.

How Often Should the Oven Be Cleaned?

The frequency of cleaning depends on how often the oven is used and what is being cooked. The oven can suggest cleaning cycles based on current needs. Regular cleaning ensures that the oven lasts longer and functions optimally.
