Case: Golfskoven - Adventure golf with restaurant
In 2020, Golfskoven landed on our table. We had to help with planning a complete commercial kitchen that would serve all of Golfskoven's guests with burgers and snack dishes.
Golfskoven is a large adventure golf and experience center in an old warehouse in Højbjerg, Aarhus. Here you can play pool, petanque, darts, football pool and yes, adventure minigolf. There are a total of 18 holes, so you have to set aside an afternoon or an evening, and then you can have a burger in the pavilion afterwards.
The founder of Golfskoven has no previous experience in the restaurant industry and therefore needed some advice on establishing such a place. We were involved from the start and held on-site project meetings to ensure a good result.
We drew up interior design proposals and recommended machinery and fixtures that matched the concept. We have, among other things, delivered a UNOX combi oven, storage refrigerators, cooling table , steel tables, Jeros under-counter dishwasher, Varimixer mixer, FKI belt toaster and a microwave oven.
Later in 2020, Golfskoven could open its doors to customers. We have since visited Golfskoven a couple of times with a round of golf and a burger.
