Transparent plates

Spidocook with transparent plates are fast and give a crispier surface (for example 4 toasts in 25 seconds). They are ideal for panini, sandwiches, etc.

Black plates

Spidocook with black, flat plates ensures faster heating of the core of the food and a more even internal temperature in the food. They are therefore most ideal for meat.

Black with grooved top plate

What is a glass ceramic clamp grill

A glass ceramic clamp grill is a contact grill where the cast iron plate has been replaced with a glass ceramic plate and infrared technology. It can do the same as a classic clamp grill, but also much more and much better.

Advantages of glass ceramic plates

Glass ceramic clamp grills have become popular because they are faster than regular cast iron clamp grills. They can go from room temperature to 200°C in just 2 minutes and 23 seconds. Therefore, you can allow yourself to put the clamp grill on standby during the periods when there are no customers. An ordinary clamp grill must be kept at a high temperature in order to be ready for customers.

Another advantage is that the glass-ceramic plate does not absorb the taste of the food. It is non-stick and therefore no smoke is formed. This means that you can fry different items one after the other and at the same time preserve the taste of the food.
