Financing for Commercial Kitchens, Restaurants & Cafés

Many people need full or partial financing for catering equipment and furnishings for their restaurant or café. Here we review the financing options when you make a large purchase at Cosina. However, we recommend that you approach the project with a significant down payment so that you do not go into too much debt.

Viabill

ViaBill gives you the opportunity to pay for your purchases in 4 installments, without interest or fees. Buy what you need right away and postpone your payment. However, it will be for amounts up to a maximum of 50,000 kroner. Terms and conditions apply.

Bank

Most banks charge 8-10% interest per year and take a mortgage on real estate, or require you to be personally liable for the loan. Here, you assume all the risk.

Leasing (typically start-ups)

With leasing companies, you typically pay a 3-month deposit, insurance and a fixed monthly payment for 12, 18, 24 or 36 months.

To be considered for a lease, our partner Totalleasing will conduct a credit assessment of your company, and if there is a basis for making a contract, Totalleasing will prepare the papers and take care of the rest. You simply have to assess whether the agreement is attractive, sign the contract and then you can start using the leased equipment. Here are the standard rates.

  • Establishment fee DKK 1,250 excl. VAT per contract.
  • A standard deposit of 3 x the leasing fee is paid.
  • All-risk insurance is taken out for 3% of the purchase price (annually).
  • Maturities: 12, 18, 24 and 36 months.

The leasing company will ask for your annual statement and will retain title to the goods until all payments have been made. If you miss several payments, the leasing company will collect the goods. Leasing contracts are personal and you are liable for any outstanding debt.

Example of leasing for a specific customer:

  • Purchase price DKK 250,000 + VAT
  • Handling/establishment fee DKK NOK 3,000 + VAT ( which is paid if you order a contract)
  • Term 48 months
  • Payment DKK 0.00
  • Deposit DKK 0.00
  • Monthly benefit DKK 6,000 + VAT
  • The service is charged quarterly in advance.
  • After the end of the contract period – Residual value 10%

Why should I choose to lease?

  • Freeing up liquidity that can be used for other purposes.
  • Better liquidity. The costs are distributed over the period in which the equipment is used and generates earnings.
  • Easy budgeting and accounting, as the entire leasing fee can be expensed.
  • Full right of disposal over the equipment. It is the right of disposal and not the right of ownership that creates the basis for earnings.
  • You maintain your creditworthiness with your current bank.
  • The constant benefits make it easy to calculate expenses.
  • Full deduction for leasing services.

Installment plan at Cosina (for established companies)

You may be able to get an installment plan from Cosina ApS if you are an established company that wants to expand or replace old machines (we may take your old machines back).

Payment upon order: 25% of the amount including VAT.

You can then choose to pay a fixed amount for 12 months and 10% points will be deducted from your discount.

You can also choose to pay a fixed amount for 24 months and this will not give you a discount on the goods.

Cosina ApS retains title to the goods, but you are not personally liable for the outstanding debt. Should you miss several payments, you will be notified that we will collect the goods and the remaining outstanding debt will be cancelled.

Installment payment only applies to orders of a minimum of DKK 20,000 ex VAT.

Rent (at least 6 months)

If you would rather rent an item, you can also do that on selected items. Here you pay a start-up fee, a fixed amount per month and a shipping fee. See our standard selection of rental machines here .

Commitment: You commit to a minimum of 6 months. If the product is returned before the 6 months have passed, the remaining months in the commitment period will be invoiced. Once the 6 months have passed, the termination is the current month + 30 days.

If you want to buy the equipment along the way:

You can purchase the equipment at any time within the first 18 months of the rental period. In that case, 75% of your paid rental (excluding the start-up fee) will be offset against the then-current online price on cosina.dk.
